The MEGA shopping and leisure center extension in Kaunas is a two-story commercial building, completed in 2016 as part of the center’s expansion (expansion concept by PALEKO ARCHSTUDIJA, technical project by UAB FORMA, developer BALTIC RED). Following the expansion, the total area of the center increased to 102,000 m².
The building features advanced fire safety solutions, seamlessly integrating the existing fire protection engineering systems into the new development. The fire safety design was entrusted to the Poliprojektas engineering team, which implemented a stationary fire suppression system, fire hydrants, and an efficient smoke extraction system, ensuring safe evacuation.
MEGA is one of the largest and most modern shopping and leisure centers, located at Islandijos Pl. 32, Kaunas.
